Their Words are Lost in the Din of Jets

A 5 track experimental album (37m 57s) — released October 21st 2013 on Jehu & Chinaman

When Roadside Picnic's "...;and yet it moves" fucked up iTunes (actual iTunes ) a few months ago we knew we had to work with that guy again. Luckily it wasn't long before he was typing a badly punctuated email with an offer we couldn't refuse.

His collaboration with Wizards Tell Lies' Matt Bower as Roadside Picnic & The Revenant Sea was simply too good for us to pass up. More nuanced than the all-out noise terror of ...and yet it moves, Their Words Are Lost in the Din of Jets nevertheless packs a powerful punch. Bursts of static, mangled voices and waves of dystopian drone - fans of our Rejections tape The Vertical City EP will find much to enjoy here. The atmosphere created is one of creeping decay, as though the very walls of existence are crumbling away to reveal the hidden horrors that make us tick.

Mastered by April Larson, pro-dubbed at Bomb Shop, and featuring stunning artwork by Gareth Courage Their Words Are Lost in the Din of Jets is released on limited edition pink cassette on October 21st and digitally through Boomkat.com on October 21st.
